IMPORTANT NOTICE: These Booking Conditions set out the terms of the contract between you and the Organiser. By making a booking, you agree on behalf of all persons named on the booking that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. DEFINITIONS AND ROLE OF THE ORGANISER
| Term | Definition |
| The Traveller (You) | The first named person on the booking who is responsible for all payments and decisions on behalf of all other persons named. |
| The Package | The combination of at least two different travel services (e.g., accommodation, transport, tourist services) sold by us for the purpose of the same trip. |
| Supplier | The third party provider of the individual components of the Package (e.g., Las Torres, BusBud, etc.). |
| The Organiser | Torres Treks Ltd, which is legally defined as the organiser of the Package and is responsible for its proper performance. |
| Force Majeure | Any event which we or the Supplier could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid (e.g., war, natural disasters, pandemic-related government closure, etc.). |
2. TOUR BOOKING
Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. It is your responsibility to ensure all personal and travel information provided is accurate, including valid passports, visas, and permits. We are not liable for denied entries due to documentation issues.
3. RESERVATION AND DEPOSIT
A non-refundable deposit of £400 GBP per person is required. Payments can be made via bank transfer or Wise.
For custom private tours, additional deposits may apply depending on supplier requirements.
4. FINAL PAYMENT
Full payment is required no later than 45 days before departure. Failure to comply may result in cancellation without refund of deposit.
Bookings made within 30 days of departure require immediate full payment.
5. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Deposits are non-refundable. Refunds (excluding deposits) for cancellations made more than 60 days before departure.
Cancellations within 59 days will be charged as follows:
59–42 days: 25% of tour cost
41–28 days: 50%
21 days or less: 100%In cases of external events (e.g. natural disaster, terrorism), full refunds or credit will be provided less unrecoverable costs.
6. CURRENCY FLUCTUATIONS
Prices are based on prevailing exchange rates at the time of publication. Prices may vary due to currency or supplier cost changes.
Clients will be notified of price increases no later than 60 days prior to departure.
7. DATE CHANGE AND TRANSFER
Date changes are not permitted post-confirmation. Transfer to another traveller is possible with £50 GBP fee if airline tickets are not issued.
8. INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS
We do not arrange international flights. We are not liable for delays or costs arising from flight disruptions.
Referrals to trusted travel agents are available upon request.
9. HEALTH AND FITNESS
Participants must possess reasonable physical fitness. The Company reserves the right to remove individuals who cannot meet tour requirements.
Clients with medical or mobility issues must disclose these during booking.
10. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory. Policies must cover health, evacuation, cancellation, and liability.
Policy details and emergency contacts must be provided 15 days prior to travel.
11. BAGGAGE
Clients are limited to one 20kg checked bag and one 5kg carry-on. Clients are responsible for handling their luggage.
12. CONDUCT AND BEHAVIOUR
Clients must follow the guidance of tour leaders. Misconduct, endangerment, or disruption may result in removal from the tour at personal expense.
13. COMPANY LIABILITY
The Company acts as an intermediary for service providers and is not liable for injury, loss, or damage due to external factors.
All efforts are made to ensure tour components are delivered as planned. Substitutions may be made when necessary.
14. LIVING STANDARDS
Clients acknowledge that local conditions, services, and infrastructure may differ significantly from those in their home country.
15. PROMOTIONAL MEDIA RIGHTS
The Company reserves the right to use photographs or videos from tours for promotional purposes. Clients not wishing to appear in media must indicate so in writing prior to departure.
16. COMPLAINTS AND LEGAL JURISDICTION
Complaints must be reported immediately to the local guide or supplier. If unresolved, written complaints must be submitted within 30 days of return.
This contract, and any dispute arising out of it, shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
